Summer Wedding Makeup Tips that Won’t make You Melt
Summer is a wonderful time to get married, especially if you want to say ‘I do’ in the great outdoors. But what do you do when the rising temperatures threaten the work of your makeup artist?
Here are our list of makeup tips for ‘keeping your face on’.
Always use primer – Before you apply foundation, or before your makeup artist does, make sure that primer is applied first. This will make your makeup go the distance and smooth out your skin too.
Not too much moisturiser – This tip is especially important if you have oily skin. If you are more on the oily side, buy a moisturiser that’s oil-free. Also, keep a pack of blotting paper in your emergency kit or in your purse on the big day.
Eyes – To make sure your eyeshadow lasts all day, use a concealer on your lids. In case of happy tears, don’t use creamy eye shadows and make sure your mascara is waterproof.
Lips – Use concealer on your lips before putting your lipstick on. Apply gloss over the top for a slick finish.
Blush – Once again, if you find your skin is more on the oily side avoid using creamy blushes and stick with a powder blush.
