Bridal Fair Features Edible Bouquet
The Bathurst Bridal Expo was fully booked out this year, with 70 exhibitors displaying everything from invitation designs and cakes to wedding dresses and floral designs.
One of the most innovative displays was a chocolate bridal bouquet that had been handcrafted from chocolate, shown by Lollypotz Chocolate Bouquets, a company specialising in wedding centrepieces such as chocolate bridal bouquets.
Organisers Haylie Mammoliti and Debbie Campbell said that this year’s event was the biggest in its history. While the annual expo is usually very popular, this year every single stall was booked out.
Campbell claimed that the quality of the exhibitors had contributed to its success. She explained that having all of the various displays under the same roof was attractive to attendees, as it saved them from having to visit every single business individually.
Campbell pointed out that the exhibitors had samples of items on display. In the store, shoppers might only be able to view photos of flowers or cakes. Mary Kay beauty consultant Varni-Maree Bennett agreed, and said that a major benefit was the fact that everything was on show in the same place.
